When I became more serious about practicing waste sorting, I began to notice that: to clean the trash before taking it to the sorting center or to plant more trees on the rooftop both require a lot of water.

I also started washing my hair and bathing using a basin. It's not as comfortable or convenient as using a shower, but I understand the reason I feel it's not "comfortable", not "convenient" is because I had for a very long time been "using it without restraint".

The living space is also quite inconvenient for saving and managing water resources. Not to mention it is also rather time-consuming. Feelings of tiredness, laziness, and annoyance are always present whenever I think to myself that I should practice saving more.

On hot days, more water is used for bathing. Whenever I come back from being out, I just want to quickly immerse myself in water. I switched to bathing in a basin.

The method is: I wash my hair or body with soap and let the soapy water run off outside; once I'm free of soap, I scoop water from the green basin into the white basin. After that, the water from the white basin is poured into the bucket and I use it to water the plants, instead of turning the tap on again.

I'm still trying to keep up this practice. I hope it becomes more consistent and turns into a habit for me to do it at least twice a week.
